We are proud to welcome back Hisayuki "Deko" Idekoba as CEO of Indeed. Deko previously served as Indeed’s CEO from 2013-2019. In addition to leading Indeed, he will continue to serve as CEO of our parent company, Recruit Holdings. We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to Chris Hyams, who has led Indeed as CEO since 2019 and will continue as an advisor through the end of the year. “We’re in a once in a generation moment where tech can really change lives,” said Deko. “Hiring is still too slow and too hard, and we’re using AI to make it simpler and more personal—for both job seekers and employers. Indeed would not be what it is today without Chris as he transitioned the company from a search engine to a two-sided marketplace. We’re so grateful for everything he’s done." Through the program, Nicole has blended her love for coding with her commitment to inclusion.
