A holiday message from Chairman and CEO Brian Niccol: Thank you to our treasured guests, cherished employees, trusted partners, and the communities we serve for supporting our mission to Cultivate a Better World. In 2022, we celebrated the opening of our 3000th restaurant and 500th restaurant with a Chipotlane, debuted innovative new technology, launched three new menu items, advanced thousands of careers, donated millions to charities, young farmers, and communities through our Round Up for Real Change program, strengthened our culture and celebrated diversity all year. It has been an incredible year for Chipotle, and I am grateful to everyone who makes this possible daily. Looking ahead to 2023, we are lucky to have a long runway of growth ahead of us and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together. As we wrap up the year, I wish you and your families, loved ones, and friends a happy holidays and wonderful New Year!

We are grateful to be recognized on Fortune's 2022 Change the World list as a company that is doing well by doing good. In '21, we purchased more than 35 million pounds of locally grown produce and spent more than $400 million in food premiums over the last two years to buy responsibly sourced and humanely raised ingredients. It’s all part of our efforts to support the next generation of farmers and sustainable agriculture across the globe. Additionally, we've partnered with the National Young Farmers Coalition to advocate for changes in the 2023 Farm Bill that would provide equitable access to one million acres of farmland to young potential buyers.
