Neighborhood Health has long worked to expand healthcare access in Northern Virginia. By offering COVID-19 testing five days a week instead of three, at one of its clinics in the City of Alexandria, underserved residents can find out their COVID-19 status and make informed decisions about their health. We’re proud to support their efforts to expand access to care during the pandemic.
This week, we joined our partner DC Greens for the Well Groundbreaking Event in Ward 8. The Well is an urban farm and community wellness space designed to activate green space, provide resources and allow for meaningful engagement. We’re excited to see this project grow and nurture the community.

The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected many people’s mental health and put a strain on an already insufficient supply of quality behavioral health providers. This shortage of behavioral health providers in our communities means people can't get the care they need. We’re advocating for public policy changes to increase access to behavioral health services.
