Today marks the first day of #BlackHistoryMonth. This year's theme for the month is "Black Health and Wellness," in acknowledgement of the legacy of both Black scholars and medical practitioners in Western medicine as well as the contributions of holistic and plant-based practitioners including birth workers, doulas, midwives, naturopaths, herbalists and more throughout the African Diaspora.

Earlier this month, we were thrilled to welcome former NASA Astronaut and retired U.S. Navy SEAL Captain Chris Cassidy for a virtual presentation and discussion about his incredible experiences in the military and in space as well as his lessons in leadership.
