Meet Jesús H., a Target superfan. While Jesús was undergoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, trips to Target gave him and his family much needed moments of joy. When Jesús’ sister Carla shared his story and asked that he be invited to the grand opening of their hometown’s first Target — it was clear he should be T-2921 Delano’s very first guest. “Everybody comes into Target for a different reason; his being to find that joy was what excited all of us,” said Bradley C., T-2921 Delano’s store director. Jesús, Carla and their mom and dad joined us at the store’s Very Important Guest (VIG) event this past week. The T-2921 team welcomed Jesús with a Target Gift Card so he could make the most of this epic Target run. We're so proud of our team and their commitment to delighting guests like Jesús. Cheers to you, T-2921, for a successful VIG event and for going above and beyond for a very special guest. #TargetGuests #TeamTarget #Retail #ServiceAndCare #Delano
Big Brands. Bigger Deals. Built by Our Teams. Owned brands are more than private labels. They reflect the work of the teams who design, source, develop and bring them to life. From concept to shelf, our brand, design, sourcing and merchandising teams build products that deliver accessible style, quality and value across apparel, home, essentials, food, outdoors and more. We manage more than 40 distinct owned brands. Each one is shaped by teams who study trends, refine fit and function, negotiate cost and protect quality. They translate guest insight into products that earn loyalty. When a guest updates a wardrobe, organizes a home, feeds a family or plans a weekend away, they experience the outcome of that work. A better guest experience, store by store. Target is accelerating its long-term growth strategy with a major milestone. This month, we are opening seven new stores across California, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina and Texas. These openings mark the start of more than 30 new stores planned for 2026, including our 2,000th location in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Each new store brings our strategy to life. Trend forward style meets value. Technology simplifies the shopping journey. Empowered teams create easy, inspiring and friendly experiences that delight guests. Our newest locations feature Target’s latest large format design. Stores are open, bright and easy to navigate for guests and team members. Early results show strong guest satisfaction, particularly in food and beverage, same day services and convenience driven layouts. Whether it is a nearly 150,000 square foot large format like our Fuquay-Varina store, or a compact urban location like Jersey City, each opening moves us closer to our goal of more than 300 new stores by 2035. The momentum is real. The focus is clear. We are building a bigger, better Target.

Elevating Store Leadership Across Target. We are proud to highlight Target’s Store Director Development Program (SDDP), a leadership experience built to help store directors lead with confidence in an ever-evolving retail environment. SDDP blends in-person workshops, guided peer groups, digital learning and on-the-job applications to build skills. When developing Target’s SDDP program, our L&D team used a learner centered approach by partnering with leaders at the outset to define their development needs, engaging them throughout to evaluate ideas and guide design decisions, and ensuring every topic and activity reflected the real world challenges they face each day. Now available to nearly 2,000 store directors across the country, SDDP has also earned a Brandon Hall Group Gold award for Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Development Program. “The store director development program gave me a support system I needed to feel confident... Whether it's asking questions around new processes, new ideas, or having a laugh about a funny store moment, these peers and new friends make me feel ready to tackle each day and lead our teams to success.” -Malcolm O., King of Prussia PA Store Director Learn how Target invests in developing talent and creating long-term career growth for team members at every level here: https://corporate.target.com/careers/growth-and-development?utm_source=linkedinindeedglassdoor&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=continuedgrowth&utm_content=sddp

Energy. Belonging. Growth. Fernando has spent 29 years at Target, and his story is rooted in people. He believes the best teams are built on a strong combination of support and shared learning. Every culture adds something. Every team member has something to teach. Coming in as a Lead Warehouse Worker in 1996, Fernando has now developed into an Operations Manager. Fernando takes pride in who he is while staying curious about others. That openness fuels stronger connections and better work. Though his career has been rooted at one facility—our Fridley, MN distribution center—Fernando’s experience has shaped a dynamic perspective on growth: “Opportunities are always there. If you really want to keep growing, you can... I encourage everybody to join us.” -Fernando R.
