Team Member Spotlight - Kevin Pham, CNMT, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT & CT Technologist at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, Glendale, AZ. Kevin’s Banner journey began in 2012, working as a Pool Technologist in Nuclear Medicine. He later became a Clinical Instructor for Nuclear Medicine students getting their clinical experience at Banner. Early on in his career, Kevin expressed interest in cross-training in PET/CT and was given the opportunity to work in both modalities. More recently Kevin became a CT technologist thanks to the robust cross-training opportunities that Banner Thunderbird offers to support the growth of their employees. Vanessa’s passion for patient care led her on a 12-year Banner journey that continues today in our Health Plan division. Her career began at Banner University Medical Center – Tucson as a Radiology Assistant, and Patient Service Specialist in Medical Imaging, and later as a Patient Financial Services Supervisor in Outpatient Registration. In those roles, she managed a variety of tasks related to patient scheduling, authorizations, and insurance verification. In 2018, Vanessa moved to the Health Plan division where she is now a Manager on the Government Programs team specializing in the Medicaid (AHCCCS) Program. Vanessa’s dedication, compassion, and contagious smile have been recognized by patients as well as, her colleagues.
