In honor of Memorial Day and those who have sacrificed their lives for our country, Arbella employees joined Home Base and hundreds of other volunteers to place 37,000 American flags on the Boston Common.
In celebration of Mother's Day, Arbella's Diversity and Inclusion Council distributed flowers from Yanique Events, a local Black-owned business.
Arbella was thrilled to participate in Interfaith Social Services’ 52nd annual Stop the Stigma 5k! Our team had nearly 130 employees show up in support of Interfaith and their mission to eliminate mental health stigmas and encourage acceptance. It's officially Red Sox season! ⚾ We celebrated opening day by Rallying Against Cancer in support of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund. Together, Arbella employees and the Arbella Insurance Foundation raised $5k!
The Arbella Insurance Foundation was honored to be the Presenting Sponsor of the Franklin Cummings Tech Momentum Celebration! This event brought together over 200 people to listen to student stories and support scholarships for FC Tech students. The Momentum Celebration supported FC Tech's mission by breaking down financial barriers to high impact careers. Several members of the Arbella community were excited to attend the event and visit the Arbella Cybersecurity Lab on the school's campus. We're proud to be a partner of FC Tech!
Our Actuarial department collaborated with our Diversity and Inclusion Council to host a Lunar New Year celebration at Arbella! We celebrated the year of the horse, a symbol of freedom, resilience, and rapid transformation, with traditional cuisine, music, and cash-filled red envelopes (a symbol of good luck and prosperity). These Lunar New Year celebrations are one of Arbella's favorite longstanding traditions!
Arbella's employee volunteers were thrilled to Read Across America at Quincy Public Schools! It was a fantastic morning reading Dr. Seuss books to the kindergarteners at Lincoln Hancock Elementary School.
Arbella's Diversity & Inclusion Council commemorated Black History Month by honoring a notable Black American each week throughout February. Employees joined members of our D&I Council to learn about these individuals and receive a small giveaway item related to their story.
