Pros

As I reflect on my 10-year journey at Labcorp, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have shaped my career. I joined in April 2016 as a Team Leader in the International Payroll team in the UK, progressing to Regional Payroll Manager, then relocating to Brussels in 2020 while continuing to lead the team remotely. In 2022, I stepped into my current role as Global Payroll Director. During this time, I have been fortunate to support many key transformations, including M&A projects, Workday implementation, the Spin-off, several global payroll and system changes, payroll team transformations and a global payroll vendor transition in the last year. None of this would have been possible without the guidance of my leaders, the support of my team, and the incredible colleagues and mentors I’ve worked with. I’m proud to be part of an organisation that continues to grow while staying true to its mission of improving health and improving lives. I look forward to what’s ahead.

Cons

A lot of change that can get challenging to manage at times of conflicting priorities.

Pros

- Company car - Free lab work

Cons

- Constant turnover and they have been on a hiring "frost" for some time now which means they are not hiring nearly fast enough to make up for it - It is a boys club past the regional manager of business development (RMBD) level so good luck trying to move ahead - Limited growth opportunities and promotions are quietly based off of tenure - Upper management is not in touch with what is going on in the field and rarely speaks to their sales people - Lack of accountability; for instance, an SME may set up an account incorrectly and the KAEs have to pay for those mistakes. No disciplinary action is taken even when it is a regular occurrence.
