Pros
A lot of bright, talented people. Decent benefits. Relatively family-friendly.
Cons
Where do I even begin? The management is atrocious, repeating CEO’s words as if he were a prophet, with no hint of thinking of their own. All decisions are taken by the CEO himself or his inner circle, and as long as you’re path of circle your technical expertise doesn’t matter. QA department is large and inefficient, being ran by career ambitions of its manager rather than by processes. Projects aren’t a total disaster due to some employees going above and beyond, although they become complacent after realizing no career growth or recognition can be achieved in that manner. Certain coding enthusiasts rewrite the same code using different technologies and get away with it due to being part of the aforementioned inner circle.
