Pros

Epsilon is a great place to work if you are looking for a quick resume builder or if you don't really have any career aspirations other than to show up and receive a paycheck.

Cons

The Epsilon senior leadership team is a 90% white all boys club that earned their chops 20 years ago selling bulky databases and email platforms. That lack of diversity and evolution in their skill sets is the direction that leads the company and is the reason why they have been focused on acquisitions to drive revenue instead of internal organic growth and training to develop new capabilities that their clients will actually pay for. This would not be a bad approach if the company culture was created to thrive in this type of changing environment but instead, it forces out the senior leadership of those acquired companies leaving a shell of an asset behind. Every year around April or May you will see a round of layoffs to help them increase their EBITDA to meet their parent companies revenue requirements (LinkedIn just alerted me to another round which inspired me to write this). Combine this with their client-centric approach which is focused on outsourcing non-client roles to their new India office and the long-term outlook for a career is grim. There is no employee loyalty here and unless you go skiing with the CEO every year don't get too comfortable. One SVP who has such as relationship with the CEO has lost 3 major clients in their vertical and has been asked off numerous pieces of businesses but still remains employed. The HR department is just there for show, if they do show up. In some offices they tend to only be there a few days a week and when you do have an issue good luck. In my case, after an acquisition, I was reporting to a new boss who did not respond to any my emails or phone calls over a 4 month period. After going to HR to discuss my approach for getting my new boss to communicate with me, they responded with "well keep on trying to email them".

Thank you for your review. We do value your feedback and are sorry that your experience at Epsilon was not a positive one. Epsilon works hard to ensure its employees are happy and engaged. It is true that Epsilon has gone through multiple re-branding initiatives which stem from its robust growth strategy. In fact, Epsilon has evolved so much over the past 15 years that it’s database and data roots are only now a part of its impressive story. As successful as Epsilon is, we are also prone to the ebbs and flows of business and need to ensure that our staffing levels are aligned to work. Sometimes those two factors are not in alignment and we need to make tough decisions around headcount. Our employees are important to us and these business driven decisions are not made lightly. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. --Human Resources Team

Pros

There are no "Pros". Company is getting driven into the ground, quickly. Unlimited FTO - sure nice if you EVER get to take time off

Cons

Employees have been strung along last year (2025), told there would be Merit Increases -- should have been in March 2025 (didn't happen); then we're told it would be in July 2025 (didn't happen); then we're told would have a meeting in Sept 2025; there was a All Hands call and we we're told ONLY Top Performers would get a BONUS, and no one else. Then, in Jan 2026, there was money Allocated for FULL Merit Increases for April 2026. NO Senior Mgnt Communication. It's the end of March 2026 and we are told from our Managers (NOT Senior Mgnt) that there would NOT be any Merit Increases, supposedly "tabled" until July 2026. Time will tell.
