Pros
Compensation is generous at CCC which includes a yearly bonus. The location is also great in Chicago. Coworkers and direct managers on my team and other dev teams are great to work with, smart people who are very helpful and friendly.
Cons
Where to start...when I began at CCC, things were pretty good and the Product management partners were a pleasure to work with and genuinely seemed to care about us and not just products. Current Product Management is a different story. Very pretentious, nitpicking, demanding and will throw you under the bus with your bosses any chance they get without even talking to you first. No one has your back and just kowtows and bows down to product management's demands and whims, which change on a dime. It's creating a toxic environment where everyone is afraid to speak up and constantly walking on egg shells. It's a shame that a long tenure can be tarnished this way. Feels like some long term folks are just protecting themselves until they can retire by keeping their heads down and not backing up their teams.
