Pros

Lots of overtime, very flexible schedule

Cons

Management is very one sided, if your ratting people out then your there favorite. There is no training everything is do this learn on your own do not mess up, oh lets not forget if you need to be trained it comes in the form of employees looking for any thing they can to make you look bad. And if you stand up to any automatic target. yea id say stay away from this place the cons definitely out way the pros.

Bachem Response

Thank you for your feedback. Bachem recognizes that employees are our most valuable asset and critical to the success of our organization. As a result, Bachem is making significant efforts to improve employee training and development capabilities. Bachem is currently developing and implementing a new electronic training program with job specific curriculum, which is intended to ensure uniform and comprehensive training for all employees in all roles in the company. Bachem is also in the midst of an extensive managers training program, which we expect will improve the capabilities of our managers, especially with respect to employee development. Bachem expects all employees to be team players and to give their very best to every task and assignment. While we continue to work on improving our training and employee development capabilities, we do expect our employees to meet us half way and do their part by growing with us as well. Suggestions and ideas for improvement are always welcome and appreciated.

Pros

Good pay, great colleagues, and firm job security in this booming peptide market.

Cons

The HR, Facilities and Safety managers are terrible, and could not care less about employees and their safety. The company constantly drops the ball on production deadlines, I would not be surprised if Bachem is dropped as a vendor by pharmaceutical manufacturers.
