Pros

Direct manager cares and has goals in place to help improve the department. The core team is made up of great people that work well together.

Cons

Seems like the plant director is actively and intentionally making the entire plant worse. Zero accountability for disrespecting hourly workers even when it's brought to management's attention. Supervisors have completely checked out and refuse to provide the help needed for their people to succeed. Nonexistent advancement opportunities unless you go to church with or are friends with certain managers. Cliquey front office and improper use of employee information. Little to no diversity in management roles. There is a single manager that's a POC and he's their most recent hire.

Pros

I absolutely LOVED this company and was so sad to leave due to personal relocation! This company walks the talk in regards to culture. They truly care about their people and know exacly how important and critical their people are. This company is innovative! If you have a crazy idea that might just work, AWC says "lets give it a try!". I have had the BEST mentors from the Director of Operations to HRBP's who coached and supported me throughout my career growth. No company is perfect but AWC is one who looks at their shortcomings as opportunities of growth and development. I can't express how much I enjoyed this chapter of my career journey. I wish AWC continued success!

Cons

There were times when the plant would exceed corporate expectations but because the company as a whole did not meet goal, thus the plant did not get a bonus. This was very disappointing to the hourly employees, however plant leadership was permitted to reward employees in out of the box ways, such as plant wide cook outs. These were very enjoyable!
