I first spoke to an HR rep in February explaining the role and outlining the interview process. I then had an interview with a member of the team in early March, where we really didn't get into anything too technical, just a high level conversation regarding my background.
Didn't get any responses or updates regarding the role until I got word that they were going with an internal candidate by the end of April. They then reached out again to let me know that the role was still available in the beginning of May. I spoke to the same team member and had basically the same conversation we had in March. Heard no word back from them until June, when I received a generic rejection letter.

Tell me about a project that you worked on that you particularly liked
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Oct 2024
Interview
The start of the process was fine. I was contacted to do an asynchronous video interview. I was told they would get back to me in 2-3 business days but it was 2 weeks. I was then told to schedule an architectural interview and a coding interview. The architectural one went great. The coding one had so many technical issues. My computer struggled so much. They wanted me to code in an online shared sandbox that kept updating the terminal and I had to share my screen on top of it with both our videos on, my computer was struggling so hard to process anything. When I was trying to code my typing so was lagged, I couldn't see any output of my code because of the lagging. This caused so many issues and stressed me out so much. By the time I finally go to sharing my screen over half the time was gone and I just then was able to start the prompt. The interviewer kept rushing me along and kept giving me help when I didn't ask for it and this caused me to not be able to show anything I can do programming wise. I really think the interviewer did me a huge disservice and I truly feel I was not given a fair interview based on her rushing me along and force feeding everything to me when I didn't ask. I was greatly disappointed because I was cheated out of having a fair interview. Next day I reached out to HR and explained the situation but they rejected me without giving me a fair chance. 2 days later the posting was re-posted. Meanwhile, I could start immediately to fill their need but they wouldn't give me a fair chance.
