The interview process at Kohl's was very forward and engaging. It was also a group interview process with multiple candidates, managers, and interviews. I think one of the most important aspects of any interviewing is the level of communication present, existing as a two-way street. I felt genuine interest from the hiring staff and managers, which I believe allowed the best of our interviewee group to rise to the top and find the right fit for everyone. There's a certain level of enthusiasm and workplace friendliness at Kohl's that translates to the experience customers have. Kohl's employees are always happy to help. It really makes a difference in retail for EVERYONE! Questions, competence and display of work ethic were all important topics of interviewing, but the workplace environment of enthusiasm is what set hired candidates apart, as I saw this in my coworkers.
