Corbis no longer exists as an independent entity. It was founded by Bill Gates in 1989 but was sold in 2016 to Unity Glory, a company that subsequently rebranded the business as Veer. The Corbis brand and its stock photo services have been absorbed into other platforms and services. Therefore, Corbis as originally known is no longer operational.
