      Glassdoor Emerging Talent Program

Welcome to Glassdoor’s internship program, where you’ll embark on an exciting journey filled with opportunities to grow and innovate. Here, transparency isn’t just a buzzword; it’s woven into everything we do, ensuring you gain clear insights into our operations and your own career path. You’ll have the chance to contribute to innovative projects that push boundaries and challenge the status quo. Embracing grit, you’ll tackle real-world problems with determination and resilience, all while working alongside good people who are passionate about supporting your development. As a team player with a growth mindset, you'll be empowered to make a meaningful impact, collaborating in a culture that is committed to your success.

      Why Intern With Us?

For 12 weeks, you’ll get to work on meaningful projects that will impact our company mission. Along the way, you’ll get to build essential life skills in workshops such as Financial Literacy and 401k and connect with our leaders through fireside chats. And it’s not all work - we’ve got fun activities for you to connect with your fellow interns such as cooking classes, candle making, and so much more - all while fully remote with a chance for in-person connections. Plus, you’ll get to rep some cool Glassdoor swag!

What Are Some Internship Program Perks?

In addition to being part of an engaging, collaborative, and fun culture you'll get to:

      • Work (almost) anywhere within the United States; Glassdoor is a fully remote company!
      • Virtual and in-person connections! Our internship program offers a unique blend of virtual and in-person events, workshops, and activities,
      • Get paid! All intern roles will have a set hourly rate and you'll get paid twice a month.

      Past Intern Testimonials

Don't take our word for it, check out this video and testimonials from our past interns!

“Some highlights include creating opportunities for the interns to connect with each other, my team being the most helpful and patient people I've ever worked with, and the amount of knowledge I've learned in just 3 months.”
      - 2024 Summer Intern

“The fact that it was remote was fantastic and empowering. I had a great manager who really believed in me from the beginning. I got to work on important impactful things.” - 2023 Summer Intern

“I enjoyed the work I did on my team. I felt like I actually helped with something rather than doing small tasks that are usually overlooked.” - 2022 Summer Intern

“Overall, I loved it. Totally exceeded my expectations and I would recommend interning at Glassdoor to any of my fellow students who are on the hunt for professional development.” — 2021 Summer Intern

“Never before have I been so involved with each member of a team. It was really valuable, and I don’t think I would have gotten that anywhere else — even another tech company. I think [the collaboration] was unique to Glassdoor.” — 2020 Summer Intern

Your Path to Becoming a Glassdoor Intern

      1. Submit your Application: First things first, apply during the open application period. We recommend you apply to a maximum of 2 intern roles.
      2. Application Review: Our intern recruiting team will take time to review your application and materials and will respond with an update within 7-10 business days.
      3. Hiring Manager Interview: If chosen to move forward, you will have a 30-to-60-minute Zoom chat with the hiring manager. This is your opportunity to showcase your skills, interests (in both the role and Glassdoor), and knowledge. You’ll also get a chance to ask your burning questions!
      4. Technical Assessment (for Software Engineer Intern roles): If applying for a Software Engineer Intern role, you’ll then take a 60-minute technical assessment (either live over Zoom or take home). Don’t worry - we don’t expect you to fully complete the assessment with the correct answers. Instead, we focus on your thought process, approach, and problem-solving skills.
      5. Virtual Onsite Interview: Up next, you’ll get a chance to meet with more team members over Zoom. You can expect 3-4 rounds, 30 minutes each. This is a great way for us to get to know you more and vice versa!
      6. Offer: If all goes well, congrats! You’ll be presented with an offer to join our Internship Program. Get ready to embark on an exciting journey with us!

What’s the vibe of the Internship Program?

Glassdoor’s Internship Program will provide you with the opportunity to manage real-world projects, get exposure to hands-on learning, and build your professional network. Plus, you’ll have a blast with your fellow interns with virtual and in-person team events, workshops, and activities.

Who can apply for the Internship Program?

We welcome current college students (both 2-year and 4-year students) with at least one semester remaining following the internship program. If you are a career changer, recent graduate, or returning worker, check out our Apprenticeship Program!

How long is the internship? What is the commitment?

The internship program is 12 weeks long. During this time, you are either committing to full-time work (8 hours per day, 5 days a week, 40 hours per week) or part-time work (20 hours per week), depending on the role.

What kind of projects will I be working on?

During the program, you’ll manage and lead projects that will impact the team and Glassdoor. Whether it’s developing a new feature, improving a current process, supporting a marketing campaign, or designing a user experience, you’ll get a chance to contribute to our mission and goals!

Is there a chance to get a full-time offer after the internship?

Full-time offers are not guaranteed after the conclusion of your internship. While several of our previous interns have been offered full-time employment at Glassdoor, there is no guarantee of a full-time offer following the internship.

I’m remote - will I still get the full internship experience?

Yes! Our internship program is designed to be fully remote and interns will be located all across the United States. Our interns will participate in virtual fireside chats with leaders, workshops designed to enhance their skills, and fun social activities such as cooking & painting classes.
