Pros
Remote work flexibility
Pay is good
Work can be engaging and technically interesting at times
Cons
Management has become extremely micromanaging, and the culture now feels heavily driven by control and employee monitoring. Computer activity, productivity metrics, online presence, and other employee behaviors are closely tracked, which creates an environment where many people feel constantly watched instead of trusted to do their jobs.
Leadership changes have made the environment significantly more stressful and less collaborative than it used to be. Morale has noticeably declined, and the culture now feels centered around oversight and control rather than empowering employees.
If you value autonomy, trust, and a healthy engineering culture, this may not be the right environment for you.
