Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Ranorex Test Automator to join our innovative QA team. In this role, you will Review test cases, documentation and test automation for Car-part checkmate products. Write new automated tests from manual test cases. Run test automation with a purpose of signing off on new features. Present automated test plans and test automation strategies to the group as needed. Research new automation and development technologies, and design automation to incorporate and test new technologies when possible. Help migrate manual tests into the automation suites. Help the Checkmate QA Manager strategize manual vs automated testing goals. Automate Checkmate testing efforts using Ranorex Studio. Gather information from team members and apply to automation of new and existing test plans.
Duties
At least 2 years’ experience
Experience with C#, HTML, Perl or Java
Experienced with Standard Testing Methodologies
Experience with automated testing tools
Experience with SQL
Must be proactive, anticipate needs & work independently.
Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Skilled at debugging software and identifying syntax, coding, and design errors
Exposure to all phases of the software development process.
Practiced software and testing documentation skills, including commenting code, and creating unit test plans
Ability to work as a team member
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated
Quality oriented, conscientious, and exceptionally thorough
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks of a fast-moving environment in a timely fashion
Ability to focus on tasks to completion within deadline requirements and according to instruction
Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up

Ability to learn, interest in the industry, and desire to expand role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent software testing/debugging experience; Test Automation experience.
Experience with SVN Version Control System
Non-Essential but Valued Skills and Experience:
Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree Preferred
Experience with Unix/Linux
Knowledge of Automotive and Automotive Recycling Industries Preferred
Problem solving and troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of Car-Part software products
Experienced with Auto Recycling Industry
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
