Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude) to join our client's growing AI engineering team. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering team working on cutting-edge AI initiatives with a strong path to permanent employment.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$70/hr - $125/hr
Position Overview:
This Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude) will design, develop, and scale intelligent applications powered by large language models and agentic AI frameworks. The ideal Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude) will possess strong expertise across frontend and backend development, cloud-native architectures, and AI application development. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the potential to convert into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. The Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude) will work alongside Product, Engineering, and AI teams to build innovative solutions that leverage advanced agentic architectures. This Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude) position offers exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies, enterprise-scale applications, and a clear pathway to full-time employment.
Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude):
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Build Agentic AI solutions leveraging Claude and other LLMs to automate business workflows and enhance user experiences.
- Develop AI orchestration pipelines, agent workflows, tool integrations, and memory management systems.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices supporting AI-powered products and services.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, AI Engineers, Designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, vector search capabilities, and knowledge management solutions.
- Optimize application performance, security, scalability, and reliability across cloud environments.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, technical planning, and best-practice initiatives.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies, agent frameworks, and advancements in LLM capabilities.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude):
- 5+ years of professional Full Stack Software Engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Next.js, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Java, or comparable technologies.
- Hands-on experience integrating Anthropic Claude APIs into production applications.
- Experience building Agentic AI workflows, AI agents, tool calling, function calling, and prompt engineering solutions.
- Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude):
- Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience working with multiple LLM providers including Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini.
- Knowledge of AI observability, evaluation frameworks, and model monitoring tools.
- Experience implementing multi-agent systems and autonomous workflows.
- Prior experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Agentic AI & Claude) or in a similar AI-focused software engineering role is highly preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
