Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing systems to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Responsibilities

• Provide initial part and process parameters for new product trials.
• Interface closely with Quality Assurance Dept. and manufacturing to ensure successful part qualification and approvals.
• Maintain and track project files, budgets, timelines, data, and print revisions, key correspondence.
• Establish Bills of Material if required.
• Closely interface with Tooling vendors to ensure specifications are met.
• Provide "design for manufacturing" inputs to optimize the blow molding process.
• Facilitate mold and tooling upgrades, repairs and backup components.
• Drive/support continual improvement activities.
• Contribute to cost reduction efforts.
• Set up secondary finishing, assembly, and packaging operations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with the Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.
• Participate in oppurtunity reviews and quoting of new business.
• Evaluate and improve current processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 3 plus years of experience in plastic part/tooling Engineering.
• Industrial blow molding experience.
• Working knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• High competency level in MS Office applications.
• Working knowledge of GD&T
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA best practices.
• Creative problem solving skills and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• A sense of personal accountability and responsibility.
• Attention to detail

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
